SCHRA Board Position Descriptions

Laurie Davis

Laurie Davis is our current President of the Space Coast Human Resource Association. She has served as the membership chair and marketing chair in the past. Laurie is currently the Human Resource Manager at EMF, Inc. in Merritt Island, Florida. She has held her SPHR since 2007. Laurie has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix as well as a certification in Industry Management from the University of Southern California.

Laurie has had an active career in grocery/retail management and manufacturing, at one point Laurie was a Vice President of Human Resources and Operations. Laurie enjoys developing people, creating new business concepts and processes as well as enhancing the HR community in Brevard County.

Mcshell Alvarez-Rivon

Mcshell Alvarez-Rivon has been employed with FAAC International, Inc. (formerly named Magnetic Automation) for over 15 years. She is currently the HR Manager for North America. She has vast experience in payroll and the HR aspects.  She has been active with SHRM for the past five years and obtained her PHR in 2014. She has volunteered on various boards for her children's high school as well as Secretary for other organizations. She has served as the Secretary and the Sponsor Chair for SCHRA and last year was also the SHRM Ambassador. She is also a SHRM member. I am very excited to continue to be a part of this HR Professional Development organization.

Jennifer Dickson

Jennifer is currently the Human Resources Manager at Barn Light Electric Company in Titusville. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and received Master of Science in Human Resource Development from Drexel University in March of 2017.  Before joining Barn Light Electric, Jennifer was employed by Wuesthoff Health System for 18 years and her latest role was Payroll Manager for the last 10 years.  Jennifer resides in Indian Harbour Beach with her daughter who is 20 years old and attends Eastern Florida State College.

Julie Song

Julie K. Song is president of Florida Business & Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. (FLBMS) and brings over 20 years o fexperience helping manufacturers and high technology companies increase productivity and growsmarter.

Active in the community, Julie’s previous and current commitments and accolades include: EDC Executive Board of Directors; 2012 Volunteer of the Year; current Chair of the EDC AVT Council; member of the Industry Council of the EDC; serving on the sub-committee to establish a Regional Manufacturing Association for Brevard County (MASC);  Current Treasurer of Space Coast HR Association;  Brevard Small Business Assistance Council (BSBAC) (current Chair), CareerSource Brevard E3 and Industry Advisory Committee, Manufacturing Association of Florida (MAF) Board of Directors; 2015 recipient of the Richard  L. McLaughlin Volunteer of the Year award presented by the Florida Economic Development Council for the East Central Region. 

Julie served on the FoundersForumBoard of Directors for ten years (Chair 2010-2012), and served on the VMA Board of Directors. She served as the 2014 Chair of BrevardWORKS, a political committee created to educate Brevard County citizens regarding the Ad Valorem Tax exemption program in advance ofacountywide referendum voted on November 4, 2014 which passed with the largest margin in over 20 years for Brevard County since the inception of the program.

Julie is also a partner in DRB Packaging, a manufacturing company in Rockledge, Florida specializing in custom packaging.

Andrea Wilkinson

Andrea, a lifelong Brevardian, is currently the Corporate Human Resource Manager at Beyel Brothers, Inc., and Rockledge Country Club. She is a past President of SCHRA for five years. Her current role is Meeting & Facilities Chair. She is a graduate of BCC and Barry University. Before joining Beyel Brothers, Andrea was employed by Gannett for 33 years. She has been actively involved with many charities and fundraising activities throughout the years, including The Salvation Army, The Alzheimer’s Association, The American Cancer Society Relay for Life, The Haven for Children, and Rockledge Rotary’s Annual Derby Day, among many others. Andrea has two grown sons, Robert Jr. and Jake. She resides in Cocoa, with her husband, Robert.

Manuel (Manny) Rodriguez

Throughout his career, Manny has worked with organizations across the globe, lending his expertise in behavioral science to make a difference in the workplace.  He is an accomplished practitioner in the field of Behavior Analysis, highly regarded by his customers, and colleagues alike.  Manny's experience spans various industries such as human services, nuclear power, government, oil and gas, transportation, telecommunications, banking, and chemical within the Fortune 1000.  Today, he focuses his time on bringing behavior analysis to executives and leaders through online learning, consulting, and training practitioners.

Manny is currently the Vice President of ABA Technologies, Inc, the business partner of the online ABA program at Florida Institute of technology.  in 2016, Manny launched Operant Leadership, the business consulting service branch of ABA Technologies.   

In 2016, Manny co authored with Dr. Daniel Sundberg and Shannon Biagi a four part book series titled OBM Applied!, a practical guide to implementing organizational behavior management.  In addition, Manny co authored with Dr. Paul Gavoni the book Quick Wins! Accelerating Accelerating School Transformation through Science, Engagement,and Leadership.  

In addition to his full time, Manny volunteers his time as the current President of the OBM Network, and as a member of the board of directors of the space coast human resource association, a chapter of the Society for HR Management.

Chrissy Council

I have been in the HR field since 2001. I started out as a Part-Time HR Assistant just out of High School and worked my way up the ladder to an HR Manager/Consultant. I attended University of Central Florida and obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I also have my 2-15 Life, Health and Annuity License. I have experience with all aspects of HR; recruiting and onboarding, Benefits Administration, Union Negotiations, Training and Development, Employee Relations, and employee exits.

I currently work at Southeast Petro as the HR Manager. I have been with Southeast Petro since 2016. I have been a member of the Space Coast Human Resources Association since 2012 and SHRM since 2001. 

On my personal time, my husband and I love to travel. We have been to the Caribbean, Canada, Puerto Rico, Honduras, and Belize, just to name a few. We absolutely enjoy learning about other cultures.

I am also an active member and on the board of the Space Coast Bowling Association. In my spare time, I work on a non-profit my best-friend and I started, called Dream Makers of Brevard.

Kristin R. Caldwell

Kris enjoyed being part of a global HR team for a communications company, Enghouse, and being an “HR department of one” at a software engineering company, NetBoss Technologies.  Earlier, she worked at Harris Corp. for 11 years in several roles, including as a training coordinator.  There are several people in Brevard County with the same name, and at least two have been at Harris Corp.  Currently, Kris is looking for a new HR role.  She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is a Notary Public in Florida. 

With the Space Coast EV Drivers club, Kris enjoys volunteering at community events, to show and talk about electric plug-in vehicles and how they are being used for daily driving. 

Kris lives in Viera with her husband, their teenage son and their shelter dog.

Naomi Coleman

Naomi is the Military Education Director at Keiser University’s Patrick AFB Campus. She received her undergraduate degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University and her graduate degree in Management and Leadership from Webster University. Her professional background includes 9 years in education. Prior to joining the education industry she worked for the Department of Defense and is also an Air Force veteran. Naomi currently resides with her family in Melbourne, FL. and enjoys playing tennis in her spare time.

Louis Wilson

Louis D. Wilson is an HR attorney and partner in the Melbourne office of Ford & Harrison, where he regularly advises and assists employers on day-to-day labor and employment law matters.  Louis also frequently represents employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in cases involving breach of contract, discrimination, wage/hour and whistleblower claims.  Throughout his career Louis has worked closely with clients involved in the healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and retail industries, as well as multiple public employers and government contractors.  He is also a member of Ford & Harrison’s Global Legal Services, Healthcare and Restaurants practice groups.

William (Bill) Korab

Bill’s goal is to ensure that clients are financially protected against the unexpected and can enjoy a dignified life. He has been working in the financial industry since 1998, and excels as a consultant to his clients, finding out what is important to them and attaining solutions that are both proper and affordable. Bill provides sound and reasonable advice to his clients, and is always available.

Bill has been a Brevard County Resident Since 1991 and is married with two children and one grandchild. In his time away from the office, Bill enjoys a variety of activities including bicycling, running, golf, motorcycling, sailing and scuba diving.

Angie Griffin

Angela has over 20 years’ experience in the field of workforce development. Her former position as Career Center Manager for Goodwill Industries, Job Connection Center, Rockledge, FL afforded her the ability to work with diverse populations. In addition, she created strong bonds within the Brevard County non-profit community, serving as past president of Space Coast Technical Network, a board member for the Brevard County Re-entry program and donating her time and resources for additional volunteer efforts in the community.

Angela attended Arizona Western College, Yuma Arizona and completed Career Development Certification at the University of Tennessee College of Social work in Nashville, TN.

She currently resides in Suntree, FL with her husband, of 38 years, Michael.

The couple enjoys traveling the globe; being an avid traveler Angela is enjoying her new career as a Cruise and Vacation Consultant through Expedia CruiseShipCenters, Space Coast.

Caroline Magnolia

Caroline Magnolia moved to Florida 5 months ago from California.  She worked in the craft beer industry for 10 plus years.  Passionate about people and helping others, the move to the staffing industry was a natural fit.  With encouragement from her family and friends, Caroline decided to take the leap and change careers into the staffing world.   She started working for TRC staffing services in January 2017.  In her free time she likes to support the community doing things like The Brevard Oyster Reef rebuild.  She also spends a lot of time with her sister, niece and new born nephew.  Grateful for the opportunity to help the Space Coast HR Association by serving on the board as the social media director.
