President
Laurie Davis
Bio:

Laurie Davis is our current President of the Space Coast Human Resource Association. She has served as the membership chair and marketing chair in the past. Laurie is currently the Human Resource Manager at EMF, Inc. in Merritt Island, Florida. She has held her SPHR since 2007. Laurie has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix as well as a certification in Industry Management from the University of Southern California.

Laurie has had an active career in grocery/retail management and manufacturing, at one point Laurie was a Vice President of Human Resources and Operations. Laurie enjoys developing people, creating new business concepts and processes as well as enhancing the HR community in Brevard County.

Mcshell Alvarez-Rivon
Bio:

Mcshell Alvarez-Rivon has been employed with FAAC International, Inc. (formerly named Magnetic Automation) for over 15 years. She is currently the HR Manager for North America. She has vast experience in payroll and the HR aspects.  She has been active with SHRM for the past five years and obtained her PHR in 2014. She has volunteered on various boards for her children's high school as well as Secretary for other organizations. She has served as the Secretary and the Sponsor Chair for SCHRA and last year was also the SHRM Ambassador. She is also a SHRM member. I am very excited to continue to be a part of this HR Professional Development organization.

Jennifer Dickson
Bio:

Jennifer is currently the Human Resources Manager at Merritt Island Boat Works/Ocean Alexander in Merritt Island Florida.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida as well as a Master of Education in Human Resource Development from Drexel University.  Before joining Merritt Island Boat Works, Jennifer worked as the Human Resources Manager at Barn Light Electric Company, and previous to that, Jennifer was employed by Wuesthoff Health System since 2000 where she held several jobs, but her last ten years was as Payroll Manager.  Jennifer resides in Indian Harbour Beach with her daughter who attends Eastern Florida State College.

Julie Song
Bio:

Julie Song is the President of Florida Business & Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. (FLBMS) brings over 20 years’ experience helping manufacturers and high technology companies increase productivity and grow smarter. Her focus on assisting small and medium–sized companies transform their businesses into high performing, globally competitive enterprises is what drives the mission of FLBMS. Through her prior leadership positions, Julie is well versed in the intricacies of training and certification programs and makes recommendations to ensure company success. Her creative approach has been honed through project management roles with a statewide manufacturing partnership initiative and the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast where she served as the organization’s director of business retention and expansion. In both roles, Julie brought a depth of experience in workforce development and training initiatives, and an extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industries across Florida. Active in the community, Julie’s previous and current commitments and accolades include: EDC Executive Board of Directors – currently serving as Secretary; 2012 Volunteer of the Year; EDC AVT Council Chair; Member/Chair of the EDC Industry Council; Founding member Regional Manufacturing Association for Brevard County (MASC) Current Chair;  Current Treasurer of Space Coast HR Association;  Brevard Small Business Assistance Council (BSBAC) (current Chair), CareerSource Brevard E3 and Industry Advisory Committee, Manufacturing Association of Florida (MAF) Board of Directors; 2015 recipient of the Richard  L. McLaughlin Volunteer of the Year award presented by the Florida Economic Development Council for the East Central Region. Julie is also a partner in DRB Packaging www.drbpackaging.com, a manufacturing company in Rockledge, Florida specializing in custom packaging.

Andrea Wilkinson
Bio:

Andrea, a lifelong Brevardian, is currently the Corporate Human Resource Manager at Beyel Brothers, Inc., and Rockledge Country Club. She is a past President of SCHRA for five years. Her current role is Meeting & Facilities Chair. She is a graduate of BCC and Barry University. Before joining Beyel Brothers, Andrea was employed by Gannett for 33 years. She has been actively involved with many charities and fundraising activities throughout the years, including The Salvation Army, The Alzheimer’s Association, The American Cancer Society Relay for Life, The Haven for Children, and Rockledge Rotary’s Annual Derby Day, among many others. Andrea has two grown sons, Robert Jr. and Jake. She resides in Cocoa, with her husband, Robert.

Chrissy Council
Bio:

Chrissy has been in the HR field since 2001. She started out as a Part-Time HR Assistant just out of High School and worked her way up the ladder to an HR Manager/Consultant. She attended the University of Central Florida and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She also has her 2-15 Life, Health and Annuity License. She has experience with all aspects of HR; recruiting and onboarding, Benefits Administration, Union Negotiations, Training and Development, Employee Relations, and employee exits. Chrissy currently works at Southeast Petro as the HR Manager since 2016. She has been a member of the Space Coast Human Resources Association since 2012 and SHRM since 2001. On her personal time, she and her husband love to travel. In her spare time, she works on a non-profit she and her best-friend started, called Dream Makers of Brevard; that promotes kids to pursue their dreams.

Kristin R. Caldwell
Bio:

Kris enjoyed being part of a global HR team for a technology company, Enghouse, and being an “HR department of one” at a software engineering company, NetBoss Technologies.  Earlier, she worked at Harris Corp. for 11 years in several roles, including as a training coordinator.  There are several people in Brevard County with the same name, and at least two have been at Harris Corp. Currently, Kris is looking for a new role.  She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is a Notary Public in Florida.

Foy Staley
Bio:

Foy, a Program Manager/Training Specialist, at CareerSource Brevard, is currently implementing a new Soft Skills Pilot Program for career seekers. With a B.A. in Theatre, she recently received a dual Master’s Degree in HR Management/Management-Leadership from Webster University. While overseeing the training program at all three career centers, Foy is focused on recruiting eligible individuals that will benefit from soft skills in the workplace. While doing outreach and presentations for the community, she is also concentrating on being proactive in an awareness campaign for employers and business partners in Brevard. Foy’s focus on training & development comes from her diverse background and although Foy does not have the traditional route to HR, she believes all of her unique professional experiences have only added to her understanding that human capital is the single most valuable resource in the workplace.

Julia Williford
Bio:

Diversity is in Julia’s make-up. Not only is she a native German, but Julia had the unique opportunity to grow up with various cultures and learned quickly to assimilate and appreciate others. She began her HR career by recruiting and conducting full cycle onboarding for agencies in 2013. In 2017, Julia and her husband who is in the Air Force packed up and moved to Brevard County. She immediately jumped in with both feet working at CareerSource Brevard, where once again her ability to adapt to a new environment and share her multi-cultural background lended itself to help diverse career seekers find educational programs and assist them in landing jobs. Although she technically completed her Bachelors in International Business Management in Germany, only a few of her credits had transferred. However, Julia, who enjoys being a student  in a different country and will complete her B.A. with a major in HR Management in early 2019. Along with giving back to the community, Julia hopes to bring fresh and innovative ideas to SCHRA.

Louis Wilson
Bio:

Louis D. Wilson is an HR attorney and partner in the Melbourne office of Ford & Harrison, where he regularly advises and assists employers on day-to-day labor and employment law matters.  Louis also frequently represents employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in cases involving breach of contract, discrimination, wage/hour and whistleblower claims.  Throughout his career Louis has worked closely with clients involved in the healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and retail industries, as well as multiple public employers and government contractors.  He is also a member of Ford & Harrison’s Global Legal Services, Healthcare and Restaurants practice groups.

Kimberly Ashley
Bio:

Kimberly is currently a Senior HR Generalist with DynCorp International. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Barry University and holds SHRM-SCP, SPHR, and HRPM certifications.  Kimberly has been active in HR for many years and was previously the HR Manager for BarCharts, Inc. in Boca Raton, FL.  She is a current member of both SCHRA and SBSHRM.  She was the 2005 Communications Chair for HRPBC, in West Palm Beach, after being a member for several years.  Kimberly is active in her community volunteering and supporting various charities including Hart for Horses, Toys for Tots, The American Cancer Society, and the South Brevard Sharing Center.  She also serves on the Student Advisory Council for Kennedy Middle School.  Kimberly loves working in HR and making a positive impact in all areas of her life.

Linda Radencic
Bio:

Linda Radencic is the Business Development Manager for Spherion Staffing. Linda and her team consider themselves the Job Match Makers.   She is very involved in the community and enjoys connecting people so it doesn’t feel like a job. She is always recruiting for companies that understand how Spherion can play an important role in helping match candidates to companies for critical projects or roles without placing undue stress on human resource departments. Spherion has unique offerings tailored to specific industries to further save time, money and increase retention in this shrinking workforce. Linda has been attending the SCHRA meetings for more than two years since she relocated to Melbourne from Scottsdale, Az. and currently serves as Sponsorship Chair. She brings many years of banking customer service, operations, sales, leadership and management experience to the staffing industry.   She is also the proud aunt to her two nieces and two nephews in Cleveland, Ohio, and furry nephews here in Florida.

Angie Griffin
Bio:

Angela moved to Brevard County Florida from Middle Tennessee where she served as the Workforce Readiness Chair for the Clarksville Area SHRM. Her experience in the field of workforce development has offered her the opportunity to serve in a wide variety of roles in both the Clarksville, TN , Ft. Campbell, KY and the Brevard County, FL communities. Her former position as Career Center Manager for Goodwill Industries, Job Connection Center, Rockledge, FL allowed her the opportunity to work with diverse populations. In addition, she created strong bonds within the Brevard County non-profit community, serving as past president of Space Coast Technical Network, a Board member for the Brevard County Re-entry Program and donating her time and resources for additional volunteer efforts in the community. Angela attended Arizona Western College, Yuma Arizona and completed Career Development Facilitation Certification at the University of Tennessee College of Social work in Nashville, TN. She currently resides in Suntree, FL with her husband, of 38 years, Michael.

Caroline Magnolia
Bio:

Caroline Magnolia moved from California to Florida in 2016 to pursue a career which utilized her extensive sales and marketing skills. Encouragement from her family and friends lead Caroline to take the leap and join the Board of Directors for the Space Coast HR Association (SCHRA) as the Social Media Chairperson in 2017.  In her free time she likes to support the community  by participating in events such as: The Brevard Oyster Reef rebuild and volunteering for The Children Home Society.  Caroline’s love and passion for business development, client relations, and marketing drew her to her current position with SCHRA and she is excited to use her talents to enhance our organization and looks forward to building brand awareness, capturing the true spirit of our organization through all social media outlets and contributing to future endeavors for the better of SCHRA.

Alan Bernstein
Bio:

Alan brings more than 20 years of diverse professional experience in global staffing and Human Resources.  Currently Alan is a Human Resources Consultant, supporting small local businesses with their HR processes, including staffing, compliance, and employee relations. Prior to starting his own business, Alan held a series of HR positions of increasing responsibility at Harris Corporation, Honeywell International, GTSI Corp, and Verizon Wireless.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Buffalo and is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
