Employee Driven Performance Management

Although many processes in organizations have evolved in response to a wide range of dynamics, the performance management processes that are widely used in organizations across the world are based on old paradigms that are rarely ever challenged.  While most organizations have formal performance management processes, these processes are often insufficient in helping employees understand areas for improvement in a timely manner, which leads to demotivation and reduced productivity.  For most managers and employees, the formal review meetings are painful chores that must be endured, rather than valued conversations.  The effort to complete the performance management process (typically done on an annual basis) places too much emphasis on the bureaucracy of documentation, rather than providing employees and their managers with a great opportunity to collaborate and make improvements.  These paradigms will be examined during an interactive presentation that will provide the audience with several new ideas for improving the performance management process in their own organizations, placing the employee’s needs at the center of the process.

You will not want to miss this meeting and our speaker, Cathy Bush, Ph.D, as she talks about employee driven performance management. Cathy is a Leadership Consultant, Author, Industrial/Organizational Psychologist, Professor and Speaker. Highly skilled professional in Leadership Development, Conflict Resolution, Change Management, and Building Cohesive Teams.
