Learn about innovative programs developed by CareerSource Brevard to help cultivate hidden talent to meet your workforce needs. This course will focus on jobseekers with barriers to employment, such as ex-offenders and individuals who have struggled with substance use disorder. For individuals with these barriers obtaining employment can be difficult due to current hiring practices and stereotypes. Reducing preconceived notions and understanding the value of hiring individuals from these talent pools benefits employers and our community. During the presentation, we will discuss two current grants CareerSource Brevard has for these populations, and share resources, incentives, and stories of success.
