President
Mcshell Alvarez-Rivon
Bio:

Mcshell Alvarez-Rivon has been employed with Paragon Plastics LLC for one year.  She is currently the HR Manager for Paragon. She has vast experience in payroll and all HR aspects.  Previously she was with FAAC International, Inc. (formerly named Magnetic Automation) for over 18 years and was the HR Manager for North America. She has been active with SHRM for the past 10 years and obtained her PHR in 2014. She has volunteered on various boards for her children's high school as well as Secretary for other organizations. She has served as the Secretary and the Sponsor Chair for SCHRA and  was also the SHRM Ambassador. She is now the President of SCHRA and will be moving to Past-President in 2020. She enjoys her time working with the board and the members and feels that the organziation offers many benefits to the community. She is also a SHRM member. I am very excited to continue to be a part of this HR Professional Development organization.

Alan Bernstein
Bio:

Alan brings more than 20 years of diverse professional experience in global staffing and Human Resources.  He is the President of HR Office Savers Inc., a human resources consulting firm that provides employment advisory solutions to small businesses and individuals in the areas of staffing, compliance, and employee relations. Prior to starting his own business, Alan held a series of HR positions of increased scope and responsibility at Harris Corporation, Honeywell International, GTSI Corp, and Verizon Wireless.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Buffalo and is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.

Jennifer K Dickson
Bio:

Jennifer is currently the Human Resources Manager at Merritt Island Boat Works/Ocean Alexander in Merritt Island Florida.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida as well as a Master of Education in Human Resource Development from Drexel University.  Before joining Merritt Island Boat Works, Jennifer worked as the Human Resources Manager at Barn Light Electric Company, and previous to that, Jennifer was employed by Wuesthoff Health System since 2000 where she held several jobs, but her last ten years was as Payroll Manager.  Jennifer resides in Indian Harbour Beach with her daughter who attends Eastern Florida State College.

Julie Song
Bio:

Julie Song is the President of Florida Business & Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. (FLBMS) brings over 20 years’ experience helping manufacturers and high technology companies increase productivity and grow smarter. Her focus on assisting small and medium–sized companies transform their businesses into high performing, globally competitive enterprises is what drives the mission of FLBMS. Through her prior leadership positions, Julie is well versed in the intricacies of training and certification programs and makes recommendations to ensure company success. Her creative approach has been honed through project management roles with a statewide manufacturing partnership initiative and the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast where she served as the organization’s director of business retention and expansion. In both roles, Julie brought a depth of experience in workforce development and training initiatives, and an extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industries across Florida. Active in the community, Julie’s previous and current commitments and accolades include: EDC Executive Board of Directors – currently serving as Secretary; 2012 Volunteer of the Year; EDC AVT Council Chair; Member/Chair of the EDC Industry Council; Founding member Regional Manufacturing Association for Brevard County (MASC) Current Chair;  Current Treasurer of Space Coast HR Association;  Brevard Small Business Assistance Council (BSBAC) (current Chair), CareerSource Brevard E3 and Industry Advisory Committee, Manufacturing Association of Florida (MAF) Board of Directors; 2015 recipient of the Richard  L. McLaughlin Volunteer of the Year award presented by the Florida Economic Development Council for the East Central Region. Julie is also a partner in DRB Packaging www.drbpackaging.com, a manufacturing company in Rockledge, Florida specializing in custom packaging.

Nikki Larchar
Bio:

Nikki Larchar, SHRM-CP, is a harassment prevention trainer, speaker, comic book author, HR nerd, and co-founder of Define the Line a company that is on a mission to eliminate harassment by empowering individuals to speak up, define their line, and spark change within their organizations. Nikki finds joy in engaging her audience with interactive activities and discussions to spark meaningful conversations. As the co-author of the comic book training tool, Define the Line, Nikki has created the harassment prevention training she wished she had when she entered the workforce. Define the Line's work has been featured nationally in media outlets such as NPR, SHRM, Workforce Magazine, HR Dive, and HR Bartender. When Nikki is not inspiring teams, you can find her serenading Disney songs to her dog while her husband tries to escape the beauty of her voice in their Cocoa, FL home.

Kristin R. Caldwell
Bio:

Kris Caldwell is the Contracts Coordinator for Saalex Corporation, which provides engineering and IT solutions, including federal contracts.  She specializes in the Concord Contract Management Platform (SaaS).  Previously, she was part of a global HR team for a technology company, Enghouse, and being an “HR department of one” in a software engineering company, NetBoss Technologies. Kris worked at Harris Corp. in several roles, including as a training coordinator.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is a Notary Public in Florida.

Foy Staley
Bio:

Foy, a Program Manager/Training Specialist, at CareerSource Brevard, is currently implementing a new Soft Skills Pilot Program for career seekers. With a B.A. in Theatre, she recently received a dual Master’s Degree in HR Management/Management-Leadership from Webster University. While overseeing the training program at all three career centers, Foy is focused on recruiting eligible individuals that will benefit from soft skills in the workplace. While doing outreach and presentations for the community, she is also concentrating on being proactive in an awareness campaign for employers and business partners in Brevard. Foy’s focus on training & development comes from her diverse background and although Foy does not have the traditional route to HR, she believes all of her unique professional experiences have only added to her understanding that human capital is the single most valuable resource in the workplace.

Julia Williford
Bio:

Diversity is in Julia’s make-up. Not only is she a native German, but Julia had the unique opportunity to grow up with various cultures and learned quickly to assimilate and appreciate others. She began her HR career by recruiting and conducting full cycle onboarding for agencies in 2013. In 2017, Julia and her husband who is in the Air Force packed up and moved to Brevard County. She immediately jumped in with both feet working at CareerSource Brevard, where once again her ability to adapt to a new environment and share her multi-cultural background lended itself to help diverse career seekers find educational programs and assist them in landing jobs. Although she technically completed her Bachelors in International Business Management in Germany, only a few of her credits had transferred. However, Julia, who enjoys being a student  in a different country and will complete her B.A. with a major in HR Management in early 2019. Along with giving back to the community, Julia hopes to bring fresh and innovative ideas to SCHRA.

R. Michelle Tatum
Bio:

Michelle Tatum is a partner with FordHarrison.  Michelle concentrates her practice on representing management in employment matters. Michelle defends companies in a broad range of employment and labor disputes, including cases involving allegations of discrimination based on age, race, color, national origin, disability, sex, and religion, sexual and racial harassment, retaliation, fraud, defamation, negligent supervision and retention, and breach of contract.  She also handles claims involving the FLSA, FMLA, and the WARN Act. She represents employers in a variety of industries, including construction, medical practices, management, insurance, and not-for-profit organizations.   Prior to joining FordHarrison, Michelle served as a judicial staff attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Jacksonville, Florida, where she oversaw the operation of the Criminal Division.

Michelle served on the University of North Florida Alumni Board of Directors from 2008 through 2016, serving as Secretary/Treasurer (2012), Vice President (2013), President (2014-2015), and Immediate Past President (2016).  As part of her role as President, Michelle served as an Ex-Officio member of UNF’s Foundation Board, gave several graduation commencement speeches, and awarded funds raised by the Board to UNF’s first generation scholarship fund.  Michelle currently serves on the University of North Florida Athletic Director Cabinet.

Kimberly Ashley
Bio:

Kimberly is currently a Senior HR Business Partner with RGNext. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Barry University and holds SHRM-SCP, SPHR, and HRPM certifications.  Kimberly has been active in HR for many years and was previously the HR Manager for BarCharts, Inc. in Boca Raton, FL.  She is a current member of both SCHRA and SBSHRM.  She was the 2005 Communications Chair for HRPBC, in West Palm Beach, after being a member for several years.  Kimberly is active in her community volunteering and supporting various charities including Hart for Horses, Toys for Tots, The American Cancer Society, and the South Brevard Sharing Center.  She also serves on the Student Advisory Council for Kennedy Middle School.  Kimberly loves working in HR and making a positive impact in all areas of her life.

Linda Radencic
Bio:

Linda Radencic is the Business Development Manager for Spherion Staffing. Linda and her team consider themselves the Job Match Makers.   She is very involved in the community and enjoys connecting people so it doesn’t feel like a job. She is always recruiting for companies that understand how Spherion can play an important role in helping match candidates to companies for critical projects or roles without placing undue stress on human resource departments. Spherion has unique offerings tailored to specific industries to further save time, money and increase retention in this shrinking workforce. Linda has been attending the SCHRA meetings for more than two years since she relocated to Melbourne from Scottsdale, Az. and currently serves as Sponsorship Chair. She brings many years of banking customer service, operations, sales, leadership and management experience to the staffing industry.   She is also the proud aunt to her two nieces and two nephews in Cleveland, Ohio, and furry nephews here in Florida.

Stephanie Mosedale
Bio:

Stephanie Mosedale is the Aquarium Project Strategic Initiatives Manager at Brevard Zoo. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from UNC Greensboro and a Master’s Degree in HR Management from Webster University. With experience in both the public and private sectors, Stephanie brings a diverse perspective to her work- having operated in roles including: hospitality management, human resources, communications and public relations. She believes that effective communication is the key to success within any organization and that people are an organization’s greatest asset. Originally from the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Stephanie and her husband moved to the Space Coast in 2003 where they now have two beautiful daughters and enjoy spending time outside, on the water and traveling.
